Under the Pyramid in the Louvre, Paris, France -  Cotton sateen and metal yarns, 35 x 28.5 inches or 89 x 72.5 cm, $1,200.00  -  Being under the pyramid in the Louvre museum in Paris is a strange and powerful visual experience. Nowadays this big open spiral staircase is for employees only. I digitally modified my own photo, Spoonflower printed it, and I added texture by hand-stitching with metal yarns, drawing attention to the tactile architecture of this well-known sight.

Waterlilies and Sage Brush -  Double-sided textile painting  16" x 45" (or 41 x 114 cm) This piece was exhibitied at the Sierra Arts Foundation, Reno, NV in 2024.
 
Generosity II  -  Textile painting  61" x 61" (or 155 x 155 cm) This art quilt disappeared while being shipped to IQF Houston via UPS.

Exhibited 2022 as part of "Forever Changed" in the Blue Line Arts Gallery, Roseville, California
To celebrate a new life: E for Edelweiss, M for Morning glory, and A for Azalea, inspired by flower fairies.  Because Emma was born on Maui, Hawaii, I painted a variety of yellow Hibiscus, the Hawaiian state flower and of course palm trees.
