"On Monday April 10 in ARTS 106 at 5:30 pm the Italian Program is pleased to sponsor: "Roman Horses: a multi media, cross-cultural presentation by Maria Billings".

A successful professional at Oracle for many years, Maria Billings lived in Rome for a few years where she was inspired by the rich Italian culture to publish a book of her drawings and water colors. Once returned to America Maria found an inspiring way to connect what she saw and learned in Italy to the vibrant heritage culture of America.

The presentation will touch on self-motivation, art and quilting techniques and it should be a fun event with optional, active participation in creating a modern signature quilt. Light refreshments will be served".
