Art in the Time of the Pandemic
Yesterday, I visited the Blue Line Arts Gallery in Roseville.
405 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA 95678
(916) 783-4117
Gallery hours: Tue-Sat from 11am-5pm.
The gallery presents a very interesting art quilt exhibition: "Art in the Time of the Pandemic" until January 2021. It’s visible any time of day when you look through the front windows. The art works are also online: https://www.bluelinearts.org/shop-feature-foyer
The exhibition was organized by SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Association) Local Connections. The individual works were created during the current 2020 pandemic: a creative response to difficulties; or as one artist puts it: "When life hands you lemons, we make lemonade."
Two of my works are included: "Spirals" and "Isolation in the California Coastal Range".
